The discovery of Humaira Asghar's body at her Karachi flat by police yesterday afternoon has shocked Pakistan's entertainment sector, with several celebrities expressing their sorrow on social media in response to this unexpected and startling event. The 32-year-old Humaira Asghar, who goes as Humaira On Demand on reality TV programs like Big Brother Pakistan, will always be one of Pakistan's greatest stars.

 


Humaira Asghar was who? Born in Lahore, Humaira Asghar is a Pakistani actress, model, and reality TV personality who received training at the College of Art & Design (PUCAD) and the National College of Arts (NCA) in Lahore. Prior to transitioning to television appearances like Laali Benaam Chal Dil Mere Sirat E Mustaqeem, among others, her modelling career began in 2013.





After making her film debut in 2015 with Jalaibee, Humaira Dewan last appeared in Love Vaccine in 2021. Similar to Bigg Boss, Humaira became well-known via the ARY Digital reality program Tamasha Ghar. She also recently starred as Esaan Faramosh, and her performance was well-reviewed.

She thanked the National Woman Leadership Award for Emerging Talent & Rising Star on Instagram in 2023, writing, "This award means so much to me, not only as an artist and actress but as a representation of what women can accomplish when given equal opportunities to excel and thrive if given support from their community and leadership." According to Dawn, Humaira Asghar was discovered dead by police at her flat in DHA, Karachi, on Tuesday afternoon. At 3:15 p.m., officials from the Gizri Police Station came to execute a court order to evacuate the property, but when no one answered her door or entryway, they discovered her dead.
